EVENT and COUPON: Fall Fun at Clark Farm, RI

October 14, 2010 at 8:12 am (Coupons & Promo Codes, SouthCoast Events) (, , , , , , , , , , )

Today’s Providence GROUPON deal is $20 for a Family Four-Pack to the Fall Festival at Clark Farms (a $40 value!). Basically you sign up on GROUPON, pay $20 and you’ll get an email with a printable voucher to use at Clark Farm. I’ve used GROUPON quite a few times in the past, and it really is a great site. I’ve never had any trouble using the site or redeeming the vouchers, coupons, etc. Clark Farm is even promoting the GROUPON deal on their Facebook page. The catch is that the GROUPON deal usually only runs for one day, and you typically can’t use the voucher until the day after the deal (however, you can redeem the voucher anytime between then and November 15, 2010). So if you’re thinking about heading out to Clark Farm between now and November 15, I suggest jumping on this deal now.

So what is this Clark Farm you ask….

Named a Best of Rhode Island Editor’s Pick 2010 by Rhode Island Monthly, Clark Farms offers seasonal activities for the whole family. Kids can enjoy the 36′ Maze Mountain slide, which provides a view of Block Island, and the two-and-a-half-acre corn maze, featuring a rain-forest-themed scavenger hunt. Take the entire family on a hayride through fields and forests populated by hay sculptures of storybook characters and minor-league baseball players. Farm-themed options include the farm animal petting zoo and the corn pit, a maize version of a ball pit containing corn kernels. The farm becomes worldly with the Rain Forests of the World exhibit, where kids can look at live poison dart frogs and see representations of three of the world’s four rain forests.
